30th January 2012

Today I did a basic manicure with a light polish on a girl from another class. The treatment went really well and I was pleased with how well the treatment went. I also had a facial from a student in another class and it was really relaxing. This afternoon in Essential Skills we did some CV building exercises which was quite good.

    Hi ALison. Well done in managing to create your blog. Remember to post on a regular basis and to try and keep your comments college based. Talk about your day, What did you learn? What are your strengths and what areas do you feel you could improve on. If u have a job you could talk about your day at work or if u a member of a club or team u could comment on any awards/achievements you have gained.

      How are you? Sorry I am not in college today I have got a bug and I am feeling pretty wrotten. I have managed to do some work from home and have posted a few things. I should be at college tomorrow.

    Hi Alison,

    Just a quick reminder that draft copies of CV's to be done for Monday 20th Feb. Your CV shouldbe neat and tidy, short (two sides of an A4 sheet of paper if poss) and precise. Be positive, emphasize your achievements, your strengths and your successess. Always, always present your facts in a clear positive way, a good CV is vital when your looking for a job especially when numerous candidates are going for the same job. See you Monday
